Cleansing is one of the most important aspects of your skincare routine. Using the wrong cleanser can compromise how well the rest of your routine works. A cleanser that is too harsh will strip the skin, resulting in surface dryness and irritation, preventing your treatment serums from absorbing effectively. If you are oily and congestion-prone, using a cleanser that isn’t thorough enough can cause breakouts. Finding that sweet spot will set up the rest of your products to work as they should!

A decadent oil-to-milk cleanser that effortlessly removes makeup and daily impurities, without stripping the skin of its protective moisturising factors. Camellia and Perilla nourish and soften, whilst Papaya and Pineapple fruit enzymes lightly exfoliate and brighten the skin. Crafted from a luxurious blend of plant oils including free-radical scavenging Camellia, skin-smoothing Perilla and our proprietary blend of linoleic and linolenic-rich oils to soothe and reinforce the skin’s barrier. The Enzymatic Cleansing Oil melts make-up, impurities and daily pollutants with ease, leaving a perfectly balanced canvas for the following steps in your skincare ritual. The Enzymatic Cleansing Oil rinses completely clean, leaving a perfectly balanced canvas for the following steps in your skincare ritual.

the faqs

Is it safe to use around the eyes?

Yes, the Enzymatic Cleansing Oil will not sting the eyes or leave a cloudy residue.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

The Enzymatic Cleansing Oil is suitable for all skin types, but particularly suitable for those with dull/dry skin or for those that reside in cities with high pollution.

Can you use it everyday?

Yes. The enzymes are extremely gentle and offer very mild exfoliation for subtle brightening and removing any surface dryness.

What is the difference between the Enzymatic Cleansing Oil and the Cleansing Concentrate?

Both the Enzymatic Cleansing Oil and the Cleansing Concentrate are considered ‘first cleansers’, or in other words, the first step in your routine to remove makeup and SPF, to be followed by a water-based cleanser.

The Cleansing Concentrate is a balm and the Enzymatic Cleansing Oil is a runny oil-texture. They both have the same cleansing power and emulsification system, so the choice is down to preference of texture. Both cleansers work for all skin types, however the Cleansing Concentrate is best suited to those who are sensitive or sensitised and/or acne-prone. The Enzymatic Cleansing Oil is best suited to those with dull/dry skin or those who live in cities.

Can I use this whilst using Tretinoin and exfoliating products (such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids)?

Absolutely, the enzymes are extremely gentle and only offer very mild exfoliation at a surface level!

the skin protocol

With dry hands, take 7-8 pumps of the cleansing oil and massage thoroughly into dry skin to break down makeup, SPF and daily impurities. To remove, add a splash of water and continue to massage the skin to emulsify the cleanser. Proceed to rinse with lukewarm water.
