Think of facial oils as a green smoothie for the skin - packed full of essential nutrients, vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants that help replenish and nurture the skin with just a few drops.

What about using oils on oily skin? Really? The answer is yes! Oils can help balance oily skin. The key is to choose plant seed oils whose fatty acid composition is higher in Omega 3 + 6 (Linoleic and Linolenic Acid) - these create a very lightweight formula that is easily absorbed by the skin without causing congestion. Luckily, the Facial Oil has you covered with the blend of Raspberry, Watermelon and Blueberry seed oils.

I have blemish prone skin. Can I use the Facial Oil?

Yes! Deviant intentionally chose a blend of plant seed oils that were blemish-prone skin friendly - Deviant looked carefully at the fatty acid composition of the oils and curated a blend of oils that were high in linoleic and linolenic acids (Omega 3 + 6!) which makes them lightweight and easily absorbed into this skin!

Can I apply the Facial Oil in the morning?

Yes, you can apply the Facial Oil in the morning, before your SPF. We would recommend allowing 5-10 minutes for the Facial Oil to fully absorb before applying your SPF!

Can I use the Facial Oil in place of a moisturizer?

The Facial Oil can be used in place of a moisturiser, mixed in with a moisturiser or layered on top of a moisturiser - there really are no rules when it comes to skincare and layering! It depends entirely on what you feel your skin needs. If you lean more towards normal-oily, the Facial Oil will likely be moisturising enough on its own. If you have dry-very dry skin, the Facial Oil is best used mixed in with your moisturizer!
